Do I need any other software to run Connectably?
If you want to send emails, book meetings, or manage tasks in contact and opportunity records, then you just need Google Workspace (which used to be called GSuite) or an Office365 business account.

Many users connect Xero to Connectably to sync contacts, products and sales. It's optional for Standard and Automate plans, and is a requirement for the Get Paid plan.
Do I need it? What parts do I actually need?
If you're overwhelmed or stuck with the software you're using in your business, then Connectably's small business management software offers a great way to manage email marketing, sales opportunities and client workflows in one place. 

If you want to send email marketing, then add the 'Automate' plan. 

And if you want to send quotes or get paid for your services using simple e-commerce functionality online, then look at the 'Get Paid' plan.

If you run a simple business and just need to manage contacts, enquiries and appointments, then you may find the free 'Standard' plan does everything you need.
Is it expensive?
Not really. Connectably is a very small investment considering the functionality it covers. See the pricing page for account tiers and functionality.

The free 'Standard' plan helps you to manage your contacts, appointment bookings, sales opportunities and marketing workflows. Sync emails sent, tasks created and meetings booked with Google Workspace or Office365.

The 'Automate' plan adds the potential to do email marketing and marketing automations, along with creating and sending lead magnets. 'Automate' is £50 per month per admin user, or £500 per year.

The 'Get Paid' plan allows you to create quote templates and send quotes and take payments electronically. 'Get Paid' is £100 per month per admin user, or £1000 per year.
How is it different to X, Y or Z software?
With thousands of business software products on the market, it's difficult to compare Connectably with every single one. Which - if any - you choose will be a matter of preference, but here are three simple comparisons:
  1. Connectably is a one login small business management software. So it is quite different to running lots of separate login software products like CRM, website lead capture, email marketing, quoting and payments software. Multiple logins are momentum-killers and having contacts all over the place requires you to string a cleverly-crafted web of connections using connectors like Zapier to try to keep records up to date and accurate. By contrast, Connectably has all these functions and more in one place, via one login.
  2. Compared to other one login software like HubSpot, Keap or ActiveCampaign, the concept of Connectably is similar. One login software products use changes to contacts in the CRM to trigger marketing automations. Some also give you the ability to take payments electronically. But Connectably also features a number of additional value-adding features like appointment booking software, ebook creation software and a quoting tool. Unlike most software, Connectably's pricing is per admin user. Standard users are free. So investment-wise, Connectably represents fantastic value for money.
  3. If you're a Xero user, then this summary will help you see how Connectably compares to three of the most popular Xero CRM products.
Does it take a lot of time and effort to set up?
You can begin getting value out of Connectably within minutes of sign up. Online training is provided for each feature and we run free weekly live group training on different topics.
Am I tied into a long contract?
No. Paid plans are fixed term (monthly / annual) and you can cancel whenever you want. Just give 7 days notice to cancel. There are no longer-term commitments. You can upgrade or downgrade your subscription at any time.
Is my information safe?
Yes. Your Connectably account is a secure area which is only accessible by you and your authorised users. You can grant Connectably support permission to have controlled user access to your Connectably account which may be withdrawn by you at any time.

You agree to take reasonable endeavours to prevent any unauthorised access to, or use of, your Connectably account. In the event of your becoming aware of any such unauthorised access or use, you must notify us immediately so that we can help you to mitigate any associated risk.

Every week admin users will receive a back up file of all your data. This will be sent automatically to Google Drive if you are a Google Workspace user, or as a secure link in an email if you are Office365 users.
